"Monuments" in cycling refers to five famous one-day races: Milan-San Remo, The Tour of Flanders, Paris-Roubaix, Liège-Bastogne-Liège, and Il Giro di Lombardia. In NYC we have our own cycling monuments: our bridges, River Road, Prospect and Central Parks, Nyack, and more.
